The Plus Teen USA, 2010 Pageant will be held in Arlington, Texas on October 23, 2010. (Click here to view our itinerary). The winner will be selected amongst plus size teens (sizes 12 and up,13 in juniors) ages 13-19, and will be a role model for plus teens across the nation as evidenced by her confidence, positivity, poise, style, interview skills, good moral character, and most importantly, her ability to appeal to the judges. This royal beauty will reign as Plus Teen USA, 2010 for one year, and in that year, will represent Plus Teen USA through modeling and speaking engagements and through her desired platform in a variety of settings which may include, but not be limited to modeling and pageantry.
The 2010 Plus Teen USA Pageant and Conference, which will be held in Arlington, Texas on October 23, 2010.
CONTESTANTS MUST DELEGATE A PLATFORM (A SOCIAL CAUSE THAT IS
NEAR AND DEAR TO THEIR HEARTS) ON WHICH THEY INTEND TO STAND
To Qualify to Become a Contestant in Any of our Pageants, Contestants Must:
be ages 13 through 19 on the first day of the pageant
wear a minimum dress size 12 (13 in juniors) on the first day of the pageant; no maximum size limitations exist
be of good moral character as evidenced by abiding by all Plus Teen USA Pageant's rules and regulations
be U.S. citizens, having proof of citizenship
be a natural born female
be willing to allow Plus Teen USA and their licensees the right to use her name, photographs and televise any and all portions of the competition for publicity purposes in connection with Plus Teen USA live or by use of film or videotape through any media online or offline
agree to fulfill Plus Teen USA's titleholder requirements

All contestants will compete in the following competitions:
Business Interview
Casual Wear
Evening Wear
The five contestants earning the most cumulative points as judged by industry professionals, will become Finalists. Our Finalists will then compete for the title of Plus Teen USA, 2010. A final interview question will be asked of all finalists, whose titles will be designated as follows:
The finalist with the least cumulative points in the areas of casual wear, evening gown, business interview and the final question will be crowned 4th Runner Up; the fourth least points, 3rd Runner Up; the 3rd least points, 2nd Runner Up; the 2nd least points, 1st Runner Up.
The young lady who earns the most cumulative points in the casual wear, formal wear, business interview and final question categories will be crowned Plus Teen USA, 2010. In the event of any tie score(s), the judges will decide which contestant will advance/win. All decisions of the judges are final and irrevocable.
Plus Teen USA Contestants have the opportunity to participate in the following optional categories:
Performance Talent (A 3-minute showcase of talent including, but not limited to singing, dancing, playing an instrument, reciting a poem, presenting a monologue or comical act, etc., etc., etc.)
Non-Performance Talent (A showcase of non-performance talent including but not limited to a pre-built portfolio, graphic and other arts, crafts, a designed outfit, a written poem, song, or monologue, etc., etc., etc.)
Most Photogenic (Submission of an 8x10 headshot photo)
Swim Wear (Cover Ups Permitted)
*A first, second and third place winner will be selected in each of the above categories, and will receive trophies.

Most Improved (From The Inside, Out)
The winner of the following competition will be judged by the Pageant Contestants:
Miss Congeniality
Spirit Award (Contestant Raising The Most Sponsorship Fees)
The winner of the following competition will be judged by Pageant Attendees:
People's Choice (Popular Vote)
Winners of the above categories will receive a trophy.
FINALISTS- All competition finalists will receive a sash and trophy.
NATIONAL TITLEHOLDER- The Plus Teen USA Titleholder will receive a beautiful crown, a minimum $500 scholarship, an all-expense paid trip to the Nationals Pageant the following year to crown the new Plus Teen USA Titleholder, some very special gifts, a page on our 2011 Plus Teen Calendar, and the opportunity to promote her platform and embrace, celebrate, empower, and transform plus teens nationally by participating in various media, spokesperson, modeling engagements, and the like.
